Henningsvær is the name of an idyllic group of islands outside of Lofoten in the Northern parts of Norway. These small islands are spread over the ice blue Bestfjorden and are sheltered by the mountains. With this shelter, Henningsvær is a natural harbour for Norwegian fisherman. Over time, this place has become the biggest and most arrtactive fishing village in Lofoten.

Today you will find at least as many boats on pleasure trips as fishing boats in Henningsvær, which is one of the most charming fishing places in Lofoten, with the strikigly beautiful harbour and the old wooden houses.
